WATCH: Travis Kelce stars in new creepy, twisted trailer for Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie… but Chiefs tight end’s role remains a secret

Travis Kelce gave fans a first look into his TV acting debut, appearing in a new trailer for Ryan Murphy‘s ‘Grotesquerie’.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end stars in the horror fiction alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, Micaela Diamond, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, and Raven Goodwin.

Grotesquerie’s pilot episode will premier on FX on Wednesday, September 25 at 10pm ET. The series will consist of 10 episodes that will be available for streaming one day later on Hulu.

While his character in the series is yet to be revealed, Kelce provided the intro for the official trailer before appearing twice in the teaser.

In his lone line in the trailer, Kelce’s character monotonously says ‘There’s no future after this.’ He then reappears near the trailer’s conclusion for a split second.

Alongside Murphy, Grotesquerie is written and created by Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. It is directed by Max Winkler, Murphy, Alexis Woodall, and Elegance Bratton.

Furthermore, the series is executive produced by Murphy, Woodall, Baitz, Baken, Winkler, Nash-Betts, Vance, Peter Liguori, Nissa Diederich, Eric Kovtun, and Scott Robertson and produced by 20th Television.

Kelce’s involvement in the series first surfaced in May, shortly after he signed a two-year, $35.24million extension with the Chiefs.

During the show’s production, Nash-Betts teased Kelce’s acting debut by revealing his presence on set on her Instagram video.

‘Guys, guess who I am working with on Grotesquerie?’ the actress, 54, teased, before panning over and revealing Kelce.

‘Jumping into new territory with Niecy!’ the tight end proclaimed.

The three-time Super Bowl winner has long expressed interest in working in TV and film once his NFL days are behind him. With an SNL hosting appearance, reality TV stints, and several commercials to his name, Kelce is no stranger to the camera.

While his biggest acting gig so far is yet to premiere, Kelce already secured his next role with Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore sequel.
