Prince Louis, the young royal, kept his word when the Princess of Wales trusted him to keep Princess Charlotte’s surprise a secret!
Catherine, 42, spoke with performers and celebrities inside Westminster Abbey on Friday as she arrived before her family for her yearly Together at Christmas concert.
Catherine told singer Paloma Faith that she had recruited Louis, who is six, to keep it a secret for her daughter Charlotte, who is nine, while appearing to discuss the soloists from the Royal Ballet who performed during the service.
On Louis, Catherine remarked: “He has kept the secret for, what, nearly two weeks now.”
Paloma concurred, saying, “Very challenging!”
“For a six-year-old,” replied Catherine. “And then this morning he said ‘Mummy, please can I tell her – I’m bursting’. I did drop off and he really wanted to tell her. I think – hopefully – he’s kept it.”

Later, when she saw the ballet dancers during the service, Charlotte lit up, indicating that her younger brother had kept his promise.
The Princess started taking dance lessons at a young age, carrying on her late grandmother Princess Diana’s passion for the art form.
In the past, Catherine has also taken Charlotte to the Royal Opera House to see the Royal Ballet.
When the Wales children and their father, Prince William, arrived at the Abbey, they were smartly dressed in burgundy and navy.
The last time the entire family was spotted in public was during Trooping the Colour, the King’s birthday procession, in June.
In addition, George, Charlotte, and Louis wrote their own messages on the Kindness Tree, asking visitors to dedicate a note to a person who has helped them over the course of the year.
Catherine’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who were also present at the service, were the recipients of Little Louis’ handwritten note.
