The royal’s voice could be heard on ITV during the Princess of Wales’ unexpected appearance on Wednesday night.

The Princess of Wales made an unexpected appearance on the network to promote the royal’s yearly carol concert, which is aired on the platform on Christmas Eve. In a brief promotional video that was shown on ITV, the royal mother of three could be heard saying: “Join me this Christmas Eve, for a special Carol Service to celebrate all those who have shown love, empathy, and kindness in their communities this year.”

The crowd erupted in thunderous applause for Catherine when she arrived at the concert, which was filmed on December 6.

Prince William and their three kids—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—were present at the event.

This Carol Service is a heartfelt celebration of every one of you, and a reminder that at Christmas, and throughout the year, we must all shine for each other,” the Princess wrote in a letter to the guests. “Because we are each other’s light in both happy and sad times.”

After completing a course of preventive chemotherapy, which kept her away from royal duties for a large portion of the year, the royal made her appearance. At the moment, Catherine is gradually returning to her public responsibilities.

At the event, she said to singer Paloma Faith, “I didn’t know this year was going to be the year I’ve just had.” “The unexpected, precisely. However, I believe that many people have experienced extremely difficult times this year.”

Those who have “inspired, counselled, comforted, and highlighted how love unites and connects us all” as well as “shown love, kindness, and empathy to others in their communities” were honored at this year’s service.

A ‘Kindness Tree’ was a feature of the ceremony, where people left messages in red letters for those who had shown kindness.

Louis was observed leaving a note addressed to his grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton. “Thank you to granny and grandpa because they have played games with me,” it said.
