Kate Middleton and Prince William have captured hearts worldwide throughout their 23-year relationship, with the pair still appearing as smitten as ever. And it’s said the long-time royal couple have a nightly routine they’ve stuck by for years, with William bringing his wife a treat each evening.

Once the pair have put their three children; George, Charlotte and Louis, to bed for the evening, gentleman William is said to bring his wife a tipple to see the night off. “William will bring Kate a gin and tonic. They look after each other, but in different ways,” said a source, according to the Daily Record.

While opting for Gin at home, the Princess of Wales is also said to be partial to a classic pint of Guinness and has even been pictured both pulling a pint and sipping one during an official engagement.

Often hailed as the modern arm of the Royal Family, it was recently reported that Kate – who is still taking time off following her preventative chemotherapy – may break tradition when it comes to her eldest son, Prince George’s schooling.

Now that the future king is 11 years old, speculation is rife about which school he’ll attend during his teenage years. At present, he’s studying at the co-ed Lambrook School near the family home in Windsor, alongside his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

However, it’s still a mystery where he’ll head next, as Lambrook only caters to students up to the age of 13. Many are guessing he’ll follow in the footsteps of his dad, Prince William, and uncle, Prince Harry, by attending Eton College. In fact, the Prince and Princess of Wales were spotted touring the campus with their eldest son back in June 2023.

But there’s another contender in the mix for George’s education – Marlborough College, which happens to be Kate’s old school. The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden reported that the princess was seen visiting her former school, sparking rumours that it could be on the cards for George.

If George does end up at Marlborough, he would make history as the first future King to complete his compulsory education at entirely co-ed institutions, since Marlborough accepts both girls and boys. It’s worth noting that it’s only recently that royals have attended formal schools – the late Queen, for example, was educated at home, as were other monarchs before her.

King Charles did indeed go to school, first at the all-boys Hill House School, then Cheam School – which was also an all-boys establishment at the time – and finally Gordonstoun, another all-boys institution. Prince William initially attended Wetherby School before moving on to Ludgrove School and Eton College, both of which are all-boys schools.

As for George, he has so far been educated at Thomas’s Battersea, a mixed-gender school, as well as his current co-ed school, Lambrook.
