After a busy Christmas break, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are getting ready to go back to school, so the royal family is getting back to normal.

According to reports, Prince George, who is nearing the end of his time at his current school, has already finished his entrance exams for his next one. For the 11-year-old and his parents, Prince and Princess of Wales, the move is a significant shift.

George will continue attending his current school until he turns thirteen, at which point he will enter a new stage of his education. Although it is unknown which school George will attend for his next chapter, royal expert Jennie Bond has made some suggestions.

She declared that it would be “a big year for George” and went on to say, “I imagine the decision regarding his next destination has been largely decided by now. Maybe I’ll wager on Wellington College.”

It’s only half an hour from Windsor; the pupils can board (full-time or weekly) or be day students,” Bond continued in an interview with OK! magazine. “Another big plus is that it’s coeducational, so all three of them could attend in the future. That sounds perfect to me!”

The three siblings are currently enrolled in Lambrook School, a preparatory school that serves students ages three to thirteen. George had previously gone to Willcocks Nursery School and Thomas’ Battersea in London.

According to Bond, “I always thought it was a wise decision to keep the children together during their early school years…and I think that has very much proved to be the case, especially during this past difficult year.” Bond offered her opinion on the experience of the young royals.

However much William and Catherine tried to shield them, it must have been a huge comfort for the three of them to be together at school when life at home was so full of anxiety,” she continued. “And it appears that the school has done a good job of keeping them safe and has been remarkably quiet about what has been going on. At this frightening moment for them, the kids deserve that protection.”

Princess Catherine revealed in a very private statement last March that she was receiving chemotherapy following a routine abdominal surgery and a cancer diagnosis. When the Princess of Wales revealed in September that she had successfully finished her treatment, there was reason for celebration.

As the summer draws to a close, I can’t express how relieved I am to have finally finished my chemotherapy treatment,” Catherine said in a video announcing the news. “For our family, the past nine months have been extremely difficult. As you are aware, life can change suddenly, so we have had to figure out how to get through the rough seas and uncharted territory.

She added, “The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you… This time has, above all, reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus.
