At the Princess of Wales’ yearly Together at Christmas carol concert on Friday, Prince Louis accomplished an exciting milestone that might have gone unnoticed.
Coordinating with his father, Prince William, and older brother, Prince George, the six-year-old royal stunned royal onlookers with his smart outfit on the first occasion that he wore a full suit.
Male members of the British royal family typically start wearing suits at the age of seven. Watching the Euro 2020 final in London at the age of seven, Prince George made his debut wearing a navy suit and striped tie.

Little Louis has been seen wearing shorts or pants with knit jumpers on public occasions over the years. Prior to being judged old enough to switch to full-length trousers, people like his father, Prince William, uncle, and brother, Prince George, all wore shorts.
In 2018, British etiquette coach William Hanson stated: “At the age of seven, young boys typically start wearing trousers.”
“Prince George is always seen in shorts because upper class and upper middle-class parents believe that little boys should look like little boys, and so try to keep their offspring looking as cute and innocent for as long as possible.”
“It’s one of the many silent class indicators we have in Britain. Trousers on young boys is considered a tad suburban and lower market.” he concluded.

In the meantime, one more charming aspect of Louis’s appearance was nearly overlooked. As they sang carols during the service, Prince Louis was spotted cuddling up to his mother, the Princess of Wales.
The Prince decided to stand close to Catherine, demonstrating the distance between the nine-year-old Charlotte and the royal child.
The young royals undoubtedly stole the show at the joyous event, which brought the royal family together to celebrate Christmas and was held at Westminster Abbey.
A “kindness tree” that was built as part of the carol service and dedicated to people “who have shown love, kindness and empathy to others in their communities” was then where Louis left notes.

They all came with their red tags in hand, and Louis was the one who wrote, “Thank you to granny and grandpa because they have played games with me.”
The message is believed to be directed at Catherine’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who are well-known for being active grandparents.
