Kansas City Chiefs star already has himself a $6 million mansion located in Leawood, Kansas … and it has everything. Almost.
Kelce is reportedly now overseeing the building of a massive golf simulator-themed “man cave” addition to the incredible home, which is following a celebrity trend in home improvement and home building called an “iceberg house.”
What the heck is that? An “iceberg house” is a home is built-out more underneath the ground then above ground. They are considered a massive muscle-flex in the world of real estate, though they apparently come with a higher risk of foundation and full collapse.
Indeed, back in 2020, a multi-million-dollar home in England collapsed into itself due to this very same kind of renovation.
Also worthy noting is that quite a few real estate agents don’t take living space under the ground – a new “basement,” essentially – into account when listing a home’s square footage.

“In a world where anyone with money can build a flashy mansion, iceberg homes present a modest exterior while concealing lavish, expansive interiors below ground,” Justin M. Riordan, the founder of Spade and Archer Design Agency had stated in an interview recently.
Of course, if you are Kelce (worth millions) and sweetheart Taylor Swift (the pop star worth billions), you aren’t too concerned about what a realtor thinks of your pad, right?
