Travis Kelce ‘glad he didn’t hurt’ anybody in behind-the-scenes footage of him filming new show with Niecy Nash

The Kansas City Chiefs player, who recently became the highest-paid tight end in the NFL, has been seen filming Ryan Murphy’s new horror show, Grotesquerie, with Niecy Nash.

Deadline was the first to report Kelce’s casting earlier this week, noting the FX series is expected to premiere in the fall.

‘Late night shenanigans,’ Nash captioned a clip of the pair filming a scene in a convertible.

The tight end smiled and threw up a peace sign while sitting in the car, adding, ‘buckle up.’

‘Guys, guess who I am working with on Grotesquerie?’ she teased, before Kelce proclaimed, ‘Jumping into new territory with Niecy!’

The 34-year-old made his acting debut when he hosted Saturday Night Live in March 2023.

He also made a cameo on the sketch comedy show that October alongside his A-list girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Murphy has helped stars from other fields, such as singer Lady Gaga, transition into acting

Back in February, he revealed he has a passion for comedy during a press conference ahead of the Super Bowl.

‘Man, I’m comedy all the way,’ Kelce said at the time. ‘I don’t know if I’m anything else. I just like to have a fun time and make people laugh.

‘I’ll dabble into everything, though. Just to see if I have fun doing it. And I know there’s definitely Hollywood talks out there, but I’ve been focused on football throughout the season so I’ll probably have a lot of those meetings and conversations when it is all said and done.’

Murphy has a history of helping stars from other fields cross into acting, including Lady Gaga, whose first acting role was in American Horror Story.
