xie Hull knows the deal.

The media has portrayed and painted Caitlin Clark against Angel Reese since their infamous clash in the national championship two years ago.

Since then, the pair have gone on to become some of the WNBA’s biggest stars in just their first year in the pros.

But their ‘rivalry’ has always come with a misconception.

People believe there is legitimate hate and ill will towards one another.

Quite the contrary.

The two stars are fierce competitors, who have huge respect and admiration for one another.

They aren’t best friends by any stretch of the imagination, but there’s no hate between the two.

No one knows that more than Hull.

She is a teammate of both Clark and Reese.

Hull is teammates with Clark on the Indiana Fever, and with Reese on Rose BC of the newly formed league, Unrivaled.

That puts Hull in a unique position to understand the two players.

Since having joined Reese on Rose BC, she has seen firsthand the type of player and person the Chicago Sky star is.

After Rose BC’s victory over Phantom PC, in which Reese exploded for 23 points, 14 rebounds and five assists, Hull defended her teammate from all the outside noise about the perception of her as a teammate.

“I would say her competitiveness is just so evident,” Hull said in the postgame press conference.

“It’s obvious in practice.

“We do shooting competitions; she’s the loudest one in the gym.

“She’s getting in your face if she wins. I mean, like, you hear her and you feel her.

“I think, as a teammate, that’s awesome. And it’s great to have her on your side.

“You see that come out in the game, she’s hyping everybody on the team up. You miss a shot; she’s there for you.

“I think that just really has stuck out to me.”

If there was ever a doubt what type of teammate Reese was, Hull’s response should answer any and all questions.
