World number one Swiatek is a known Swiftie who has frequently shared her admiration of the country singer-turned-pop megastar, who is dating Travis Kelce.
She took to social media to update fans after jokingly trying to persuade her agent to secure her some tickets to a Swift concert during a Madrid Open press conference in April.
On Friday, Swiatek shared a picture of herself visibly emotional and clutching a note written on a Taylor Swift letterhead that appeared to congratulate the five-time grand slam winner on her recent victory at Roland Garros.
Swiatek wrote on X: ‘I’m dead. Yes, I cried many times during the show. Yes, it was incredible. You are amazing @taylorswift13.’
The 23-year-old Pole was not the only celebrity in attendance on the first of Swift’s three nights at Anfield.
Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was also in attendance, and ahead of the show posted a clip on Instagram, saying: ‘First time going to Anfield not for a football game but in the stands watching Taylor Swift. So, yeah, I’m not Taylor-made obviously but Taylor-ready.
The German football boss also posted a video from inside the stadium, and on Friday morning shared a photo of himself wearing a pink cowboy hat, captioned: ‘I guess I am officially a Swiftie.’
It comes after Swift stayed up through the night in England to celebrate Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs receiving their rings for last season’s Super Bowl victory.
Hours after playing the first of three sold-out, three-hour shows in Liverpool, Swift joined the livestream of Chiefs player Mecole Hardman’s girlfriend Chariah Gordon and left multiple excited comments.
‘JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL LETS GOOOOOOOO,’ she wrote along with a Union Jack flag.
‘CONGRATULATIONS,’ read another comment. She didn’t stay up to watch the whole thing though, explaining: ‘Gotta go to sleep it’s so late here love you guys.’
Swift cheered Kelce on to Super Bowl glory in Las Vegas in February, racing back from Tokyo to watch from the stands – she had been in Japan for her first tour dates of the year.
She went to 13 games overall, the first being a win over the Chicago Bears last September when the couple went public with their relationship.
World No. 1 Swiatek cited physical and mental fatigue in her decision to withdraw from this week’s ecotrans Ladies Open in Berlin, Germany.
Swiatek is fresh off winning her third consecutive French Open title and fourth in the last five years.
The 23-year-old Poland native posted a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Jasmine Paolini of Italy in the women’s final in Paris earlier this month.
‘Due to overall physical and mental fatigue after an intense 9 weeks, unfortunately I do need to withdraw from the tournament in Berlin in order to rest and recover,’ Swiatek said in a statement to the tournament.
Swiatek’s next scheduled tournament is Wimbledon, which begins on July 1.
